Review: Full Scale Riot - Depopulation

Full Scale Riot is a hardcore band which already released their album Depopulation. Depopulation has now reached our inbox and I am going to review it.

With is 22 minutes it is not the longest album, but for a hardcore band it is okay. First song of the total of six is War, which is a typical hardcore song. At the second track Sheeple you immediatly hear some hiphop-influences, but it still keeps very hardcore. The drums on this album are very present, so if you like a very drum-based hardcore album, this is something for you. The shouts of vocalist BJ are sounds typically hardcore. This album made me think of Suicidal Tendencies, which, I think, is a compliment. For a hardcore album, this album is much varied, in singing style, but also in instrumental style. Hardcore, with sometimes a twist of hiphop, in different forms is something you will get when you get this album.

So, you like hardcore? Try this one, Depopulation by Full Scale Riot. Hope you like it!

  1. I thought this ep kicked much ass. Its one of those listen to it twice and you're singing the beats in your head during the day
