Review: Krisiun - Forged In Fury

Krisiun is a death metal band formed in Brazil on 1990. Four years have passed since their last album. This is going to be their 12th album that is named “Forged In Fury”.

The album name describes perfectly the first song. It is definitely forged in fury, with the powerful opening riffs. It’s hard to listen to this album and don’t headbang, even imagine how this would be in a live-set full of moshpits. The fourth song “Strength Forged Fury” has a monolithic drum build up before the eruption of molten riffs that come after it. The last song ends with a 52 second acoustic guitar part. This album is worth is name, i can’t choose a favourite song they are all very well made with powerful riffs and good vocals.

If you like death metal and you like Krisiun, this is an album for you. We had to wait long for this release, but it is worth waiting. Although it would have been nice to hear this album 2 years ago.
