Countless Skies smash Metal To The Masses, seek 'Solace' before Bloodstock and have a new album underway

Nordic-loving melodeath upstarts Countless Skies have a boatload of news to share. Firstly, the band are delighted to announce that they won their final of the Metal To The Masses competition, and are now packing up their gear to head to the prestigious Bloodstock Festival in August!

They also have news on new material. Vocalist/guitarist Ross King reveals, “We will shortly be entering the studio to record a single entitled “Solace”, to be released prior to our slot at Bloodstock this year, along with a brand new T-shirt design. This will be available exclusively from our Bandcamp page, and will be at a 'Pay what you like' basis.” Artwork for both the single and T-shirt will be provided once again by the talented Carl Ellis, who created the stunning visual of the band’s début self-titled EP.

As if that weren’t enough, the band also have a new album in the works! “It will be recorded in HVR Studios in Ipswich, run by Dan Biggin (Pentagram Chile, Criminal, Anihilated). "We have 8 tracks lined up, following a similar sound from our EP but stepped up to the next level. Release date is looking to be early 2016, so keep an eye out!”
