Plateau Sigma set release date for Avantgarde Music debut

Italian Plateau Sigma have issued the first song from their awaited second LP, Rituals, which is set for release on 15th March.

The band comments on the new album:
«A recall and interpretation in doom-metal/dark-wave key of the rituality, solemnity and sensuality of the propitiatory rituals of war, death and love in the ancient Greek-Roman cultures. A liaison with a past that we still belong to, we are part of and should preserve with pride. While each song is an Ode to a divinity of the Roman Pantheon, the album as a whole is dedicated to God Bacchus. In our humble opinion doom metal is the best music genre to represent Dionysian atmospheres.»

The song Palladion from the album can be streamed below.

Plateau Sigma born in the autumn of 2010 by Manuel Vicari, Francesco Genduso, Nino Zuppardo and Maurio Avena. "White Wings of Nightmares" is the first EP, released by Beyond... Productions in July 2013. In September 2014 they released their first complete album, "The True Shape of Eskatos", always by the same label. Besides, they expanded their live activity with a tour in the east of Europe in November of 2014, and various gigs in Italy, including The Faust Extreme Fest, opening for the Dark Funeral. In September 2015, they entered in the in studio for their second album, "Rituals", their first work for Avantgarde Music.
