Serpents Athirst stream Invictus debut


"…and a beast arises from the East!"

Today, Serpents Athirst's Heralding Ceremonial Mass Obliteration debut is available for streaming. Sri Lanka is not especially associated with the emergence of any kind of metal - let alone extreme, black, and death metal - but Serpents Athirst crush that notion firmly into dust! Emerging in 2012 with a demo titled Prevail, the band has just unleashed a short, sharp shock in the form of the three-track Heralding Ceremonial Mass Obliteration EP. With influences ranging from Blasphemy to Beherit, Serpents Athirst take their approach in a much more structured and more death metalled direction, belching forth a punishing sound laden with ritualistic intent and aural terror. Invictus Productions is proud to present Heralding Ceremonial Mass Obliteration on 12" vinyl, all of which can be heard below.
