Septekh - Plan For World Domination review

Septekh, they come from Sweden and are formed in 2008. A mix of death metal and thrash metal is what they produce. Septekh is Nils GRZNLS Meseke on vocals, guitarist David Wikström, drummer Staffan Persson and Patrik Ström takes care of the bass. They already release two EP's, one in 2012 and one in 2013. Now their debut full-lenght Plan For World Domination is out on Abyss Records.

This release has an total length of 1 hour full of thrash/death metal. It contains 13 tracks. To be honest I didn't like it, but I listened it from begin to end and now I like it. The thing was that I liked the music from the beginning, but I needed to get used to the vocals. The vocals are very specific, good, but not what you expect. And, afterwards, these vocals are a perfect fit for the rest of the music. This is not pure thrash/death metal. Sure there are influences, a lot of influences indeed. But I hear also something progressive/experimental in it. And that's what makes it interesting; it is different from other thrash/death metal bands.

Go listen to this album, take the time, because it will cost you an hour. But it is worth it!
